چکیده: Abstract: The main goal of this research is investigating the waste locating-routing problem in the sustainable supply chain in uncertainty conditions. Nowadays, the increasing deterioration of environmental conditions including the reduction of raw material resources, overflow of waste depots and increasing the level of pollution has been an important challenge for humans. Therefore, sustainable waste management, including waste collection, recycling and eradicating of them is an inevitable necessity. Waste management involves the collection, transportation and elimination of wastes. One of major environmental challenges in the most cities is management of waste collection, selecting the suitable locations for different waste management units, and choosing the best route for transporting the wastes toward these units. The purpose of implementing a sustainable waste management system is selecting the most appropriate option for waste disposal according to the environmental, social and economic conditions of the community, which improves the waste management system. Due to the sensitivity to the presence of waste near the population centers and importance of the transportation process; locating waste management centers and routing the vehicle to transport wastes is one of the most important issues in any country. In order to waste management by using sustainable supply chain, it is necessary to pay attention to economic, environmental, social and adverse effects. In this study, the structure of the supply chain is such that wastes are collected from waste production centers by using trucks and they are transported to temporary centers for separation. After the separation process, the wastes are transported to the recycling, incineration, landfill, energy and sales units. The purpose of this research is improving the waste management process by obtaining optimal number and locations of active waste management units and identifying the optimal route for waste transportation such that the economic goal, i.e., reducing the waste management costs, the environmental goal, i.e., reducing environmental pollutants, the social goal, i.e., creating more jobs, and reducing the adverse effects of waste management units on the population centers should be considered, simultaneously. In addition, in this study, the effect of uncertainty on the amount of produced waste in the waste production centers is considered. In this research, to solve various examples based on the defined system model, we first used GAMS software. However, due to the memory limitation problem for running more complicated scenarios and since the defined problem is Np-hard, we employed meta-heuristic methods to solve the problem. The employed meta-heuristic algorithms in this research are bee colony and genetic algorithms. The results of these algorithms were close to the obtained results from GAMS software with acceptable accuracy in different scenarios. Then we used three indicators, i.e., MID, SM and DM to compare the performance of the meta-heuristic algorithms. Considering the above indicators and using statistical hypothesis testing, we conclude that the bee colony algorithm outperforms the genetic algorithm in these scenarios. Key Words: Waste Management, Sustainable Supply Chain, Bee Algorithm, Genetic Algorithm, Uncertainty.
