چکیده: Abstract: The Brayton cycle is one of the most popular thermodynamic cycles used for power generation in power plants. It consists of three main components: the compressor, the heat exchanger, and the turbine. In this system, air is compressed by the compressor and then heated in the heat exchanger. The heated air is then transferred to the turbine, where it is efficiently converted into electrical energy. Finally, the cooled air is returned to the environment. The Reverse Brayton cycle is another thermodynamic cycle that is used in some heating and air conditioning systems. In this system, heat energy is transferred from a cool source to a warm source. In this system, cool air is compressed by the compressor and then heated in a heat exchanger before being transferred to the warm source. Finally, the cooled air is returned to the environment. Energy and exergy analyses can be used to evaluate the performance of different thermodynamic cycles, including the Brayton and Reverse Brayton cycles. These analyses have various applications, such as optimizing thermal efficiency in power plants, designing and optimizing thermodynamic cycles, evaluating the performance of different heating and cooling systems, and improving waste heat recovery. In this study, energy and exergy analyses of different Brayton and Reverse Brayton cycles will be carried out and investigated for various applications
