چکیده: Abstract: this study tries to increase the efficiency of Savonius wind turbine by modifying the geometrical shape of the blades. for this purpose, Savonius turbine was initially simulated in three tip speed ratios (tsr) of 0.7, 0.8, and 0.9 and the results were validated. In this numerical study, Ansys Fluent software is used for simulation. turbulent and incompressible flow is assumed and the value of Reynolds number "4/32×" 〖"10" 〗^"6" is considered. Then, the simulation has been done using the k-ω SST turbulence model. After obtaining the solution method, new blades are simulated in a similar environment. 32 different geometrical shapes were designed and simulated in this study, differing in angle ("α" ) and length (L). the results indicated that geometries with L=0 and 45°< α <78.75° are more efficient, e.g. the model with L=0 and α=78.75° had the most power coefficient at tsr=9.0 among the models (0.249) and was 5.5% more than the original Savonius turbine. the results of the fuzzy graphs show that"R" _("78.75_" "1R" /"8" ) &"R" _("67.5_" "1R" /"8" ) models have less oscillation than the Savonius but also have around 3 to 4 percent less power coedficien
