چکیده: Abstract: Following the increase in population and also the increasing need for water resources; recognition and predicting the behavior of groundwater aquifers ,as the one of the most important water resources, will be Instructive and helpful. Such studies can establish a better interaction between consumer and resources, As if the use and changes by consumers is aimed at destroying these resources, (these studies and information)inform him and prevent him from making changes. Malayer Kalan Dam is the largest dam in the west of Iran, which is located in Malayer city and near the Malayer plain aquifer. Preliminary executive and technical studies of the dam started in 1380 and construction operations works, began in Khordad of 1382. Utilization of Kalan dam with a capacity of 45 million cubic meters has started in 1390. In this research, with the use of MODFLOW model, the construction was operated in two steps, stable and unstable and Attempts were made to do several scenarios, including relocating the dam and changing the volume of inlet water which is the involved parameter of the amount of water storage, so as height of the dam; Showed the effect of dam's statues and dam's height on the relationship between aquifer and water surface
