چکیده: Abstract: Among the new energies that have received much attention in the last decade is geothermal energy, which is exploited by drilling wells. In this research, the abandoned oil wells in the south of the country have been investigated, and because these wells are considered low temperature, the organic Rankine cycle has been studied for power generation. The system that is proposed to exploit the energy of such wells is a system of simultaneous production of electricity and heat (CHP), which according to the weather conditions of the region, beside which the solar energy assistance has been investigated. In this study, with the help of EES software, a thermodynamic analysis of the proposed system where the solar collector is placed before the well and heat recovery is used in the cycle is conducted. Then feasibility study and parametrical analysis of such system using abandoned oil wells has been done. Among these parameters, we can mention the cycle and well fluid flow rate, organic fluid type, condenser pressure and ambient temperature and its effect on the condenser as well as cycle efficiency. Among the results of this study is that the suitable flow rate for the cycle and well is 0.6 and 7 kg/s respectively, and the organic fluid R142b provides the highest efficiency with a value of 8.6% for the cycle while the highest net power production is related to Isobutane and R600a with 15.72 kW and 7.41% efficiency and the lowest efficiency is from using R600 and R236ea with 3.68 and 4.14% efficiency, respectively. Another result of this study is that the proposed system is not suitable for such wells, and the solar collector and regenerator do not have a positive effect on the system but it is possible to use these wells and heating of such system without the collector and regenerator that results to heating of crude oil with daily production of 6937 barrels. The parametric investigation of this system led to the results that the increase in condenser pressure causes a sharp decrease in efficiency, but the geothermal fluid circulates in a higher temperature range in the well. Also, increasing the temperature of the surrounding environment over 49 degrees Celcius causes a sharp drop in the efficiency of the cycle
