چکیده: Abstract: This study examines the complex strategic interactions between competitive pricing and advertising budget allocation in competitive markets. Modern competitive markets are characterized by sophisticated strategic interactions in which real-time decisions regarding pricing and advertising activities play a decisive role in determining firms’ profitability. In today's business environment, the decisions made by one market participant directly affect the profitability of other competitors, highlighting the need for advanced analytical tools to understand these interactions. The primary objective of this study is to model these dynamics using game theory in order to maximize profits. Specifically, the Stackelberg game model is employed as a framework to simulate the hierarchical decision-making structure and horizontal competition between two retailers. The model assumes that one retailer acts as the market leader, making the initial decisions, while the second retailer assumes the role of the follower. By focusing on the interaction between pricing strategies and advertising expenditure levels, the study seeks to identify the optimal equilibrium and determine the resulting profit outcomes. This approach provides a unique perspective on how marketing strategies influence the competitive structure of supply chains. The results of this analysis offer important practical insights for managers in developing competitive strategies under conditions of market uncertainty and making key strategic decisions.
