چکیده: Abstract: In today's world, careful monitoring and analysis of key processes is of utmost importance to maintain the overall well-being of an organization. Process mining plays an important role in optimizing these processes. Neglecting the process mining can indicate an inability or unwillingness to effectively manage these processes. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying, analyzing, and improving the onboarding and offboarding processes in the field of human resources using process mining techniques. By carefully analyzing processes, organizations can take steps to improve employee efficiency and productivity. These steps can include redesigning processes, training employees, and optimizing compensation policies. Process mining allows for a deeper analysis of human resources performance using recorded data. This analysis can include examining employee behavior, absenteeism patterns, and performance. In this research, three algorithms were used to discover process models: induction miner, exploratory miner, and alpha miner. The quality of the discovered models was evaluated based on 6 indicators including appropriateness, accuracy, simplicity, generalization, time and cost. The findings showed that the inductive miner algorithm is in a more favorable position in each of the onboarding and offboarding processes than the exploratory miner algorithm and alpha miner in terms of appropriateness, accuracy, simplicity and generalization. After presenting the proposed model for each of the onboarding and offboarding processes, the reduced time and cost index was calculated, which showed that by implementing the proposed offboarding process model, the company can reduce its costs by up to 273,000,000 million Tomans, and by implementing the proposed onboarding process, the company can reduce its costs by up to 1,799,000,000 million Tomans. Keywords: Process mining, Human Resource Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, Cost Reduction.
