چکیده: Abstract: Due to its availability and acceptable durability, concrete is one of the most important components of structures that is widely used. But due to the fact that in the production process of the main material of concrete (cement), a lot of carbon dioxide is created, which has many destructive environmental effects. Therefore, it is necessary to use alternative materials to reduce this pollution and also achieve better mechanical properties. The use of slag-activated alkali concrete, which is made through the activation of slag with the help of an alkaline solution and mixing it with aggregate, is a suitable option. In addition to reducing pollution, economic efficiency and reducing energy consumption, slag-activated alkaline concrete has advantages such as better formability, stability and durability than ordinary concrete. A lot of research has been done to find a suitable alternative to conventional concrete. There is a lot of research and research in the field of alkali-active concrete, but in most of the researches, they have tried to investigate the reactivity of aggregates by changing the length of concrete samples, and most of the researchers have conducted various studies on alkali-active concretes and their reactivity in various environments and external factors. In this research, the performance of slag-activated alkali concrete consisting of slag furnace slag as the main material, sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate as activator and aggregate in the production of concrete floors has been investigated. Four tests of splitting tensile strength, water absorption, abrasion resistance and freezing and thawing have been performed on concrete floor samples and the performance of slag active alkali concrete and its comparison with normal concrete in terms of mechanical and durability properties have been investigated. The results show that slag activated alkali concrete has a better performance than ordinary concrete in terms of tensile strength, abrasion, splitting, and water absorption, but it failed to meet expectations in terms of freezing and thawing. According to the tests, slag activated alkali concrete floors are recommended in environments where freezing and Thawing with the help of deicing salts (sodium chloride) is not used
