چکیده: Abstract: Magnesium is a light metal that has a high strength-to-weight ratio, which has caused it to have the necessary potential to replace metals such as aluminum and steel. Alloying will increase the strength of magnesium, and one of these alloys is the AZ80 series, which is the product of this thesis, and it has good strength and formability compared to other magnesium alloy series. In fact, nanomaterials create different phases in magnesium metal, and each nanomaterial creates a different phase in the alloy. Various nano materials can be used in AZ80 alloy, but the most widely used ones, which have a relatively good effect on magnesium metal, are graphene nanoparticles (GNP) and aluminum oxide (AL2O3) and each of these reinforcements will have a different effect on the microstructure of the alloy. Shaping will also increase the strength and change the properties of the material. One of the shaping processes is equal channel lateral extrusion (ECAP), which can be used as a method for microstructure (UFG). Currently, a subset of the ECAP method called NECAP or lateral extrusion with Unequal channels has been used in this research. The Unequal of the channels of the extrusion mold has caused the structure of the material to change more from the ECAP state, and due to the newness of this method, there is still the possibility of working on it for research and investigation. Currently, in this research, firstly, AZ80 alloy has been combined with graphene and aluminum oxide nanomaterials, and then by means of NECAP forming process, it has been produced under different temperature and speed conditions. The properties of this production alloy should be investigated, therefore, various tests were performed on it, these tests included tension, pressure, hardness measurement and microstructure. The presence of nano-materials in most test conditions increases the strength of the material, and it should be noted that the improvement of properties in one test may not improve the properties of another test. At the end, it is mentioned that the purpose of this thesis is to investigate the properties of the produced alloy and compare it with the experiments conducted by other researchers, in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of this research.
