چکیده: Abstract: One of the most important points in reinforced concrete structures is the connection point of the column to the slab. That is sensitive point for creation of punching shear failure also there is a high tendency to implement flat slab it due to have various advantages such as ease and positive economic aspects, which have a high punching shear potential. drop panels are one of the best choices to overcome this problem. in this research, the use of drop panels to strengthening inter-structural connections in ABAQUS software has been investigated. In this regard, several samples of drop panels with different features were modeled in software for this purpose, first the connection finite element model was developed in software and then different properties of materials were attributed to it. Then the impact of various parameters such as Compressive strength of concrete, thickness, type, shape and compressive reinforcement are investigated and were compared. The results indicate that increasing the compressive strength of concrete has increased the final displacement and bearing capacity of the sample. Drop panels on all connections has improved the connection behavior Increasing the energy absorption capacity and increasing the ductility are the effects of adding this member to the slab-column connections
