چکیده: Abstract: The microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) vibrating gyroscope is used to measure the angular rate of the moving objects based on the Coriolis efect. The MEMS gyroscope has a variety of applications in the area of consumer electronics, automobiles, aeronautics and astronautics, navigation systems, cellphones, and robot control, etc. Today,The investigation shows that the MEMS gyroscope in automotive are used to idvanced automotive safety systems like yaw and tilt control, navigation and guidance systems, ride stabilization, roll-over detection and prevention, airbag and anti-lock brake systems for Road accident reduction. Recently, The classical optimization approach to find the optimal structure of the mems gyroscope in automotive applications has been proposed, which in some cases does not lead to an optimal response. Therefore, the design and optimization of the parametric topology of the MEMS vibrating gyroscope in automotive applications have not been properly studied. One of the more advanced optimization solutions is metaheuristic optimization methods. In this thesis, the parametric optimization of a dual-mass Coriolis vibratory gyroscope (CVG) using the genetic algorithm optimization method is presented. The excitation mechanism of the gyroscope is electrostatic and is performed through combs electrodes located on both sides of the structure with a voltage of ۵ volts DC and a voltage of ۵ volts AC. The objective function of the gyroscope consists of eight specifications characteristics of scale factor, linearity, operating range, resolution, dynamic range, bias error, dynamic error phase, and dynamic error amplitude, which this specifications are also a function of six oscillation features of frequency, mass and damping rate of drive and sense modes. The geometry parameters of the optimal structure cannot be obtained directly using the values of the performance characteristics. Therefore, the proposed idea is to optimization of the oscillation features of the gyroscope.
